Ordering

Why do you need three days?

We ask for three days because our dough is mixed only after you order: an overnight starter, then 48 hours in the cold before it is baked. Here is what happens in them.

When do I need to order by?

Pickup and delivery dates are at least 3 days after the day you order (weekends and holidays count). Orders close at 10 AM on Saturday for Monday to Wednesday dates and at 10 AM on Tuesday for Thursday to Sunday dates (Toronto time), so the first open date can be later. THE SOCIAL needs at least seven days' notice. THE PIZZA PARTY needs at least ten days' notice. The order page shows the first day open.

Can I get it sooner?

Not with our dough. It is mixed only for orders already placed and it needs its days.

Is there a minimum order?

$100 minimum before tax and delivery. Mix dishes from any menu: the total is what counts.

Do the menus change?

THE PIZZERIA, THE COUNTER, THE SWEET SPOT and THE SOCIAL are on all year. Holiday dishes on THE HOLIDAY TABLE open for pre-orders 21 days before their first pickup or delivery day, and stay on the menu only in their window.

How do I pay, and can I cancel?

By Interac e-Transfer. Place your order and we email you a tentative invoice with the amount, your order number and where to send it. Send it within twelve hours; we hold your order for 24 hours and confirm it once your payment arrives. One payment for the order, nothing renews. If your bank limits how much one e-Transfer can carry, you may send it in two that add up to the total, each with your order number in the message. To cancel a food order, email us within 24 hours of paying, with your order number. The refund policy has the full terms.

Pickup, delivery and your food

Pickup or delivery?

Pickup at our North York pickup point; we send you the exact address the day before your pickup. Delivery $9.99 within 20 km, $14.99 from 20 to 35 km, free on food orders of $180 or more within 20 km. Beyond 35 km by request only. Pickup and delivery run from 8 AM to 8 PM (Toronto time).

How does my food travel?

Each card says how its dish travels: hot, cold, chilled for you to finish at home, or at room temperature. On THE SOCIAL: Trays arrive chilled with reheating instructions. Hot delivery is available on request.

How do I store and reheat it?

Every dish you reheat has its reheating steps on its label, with oven temperatures in degrees Fahrenheit (°F). Every label says how to keep it. What the label says.

Do you sell drinks?

No. We do not sell drinks.

Is there a gluten-free option?

On some dishes, yes. Each card says what its gluten-free option is made with and what it costs. It is made in our kitchen, which handles wheat, so it is not suitable for people with celiac disease.

I have a severe allergy. Can you cook for me?

Email us before you order and tell us exactly what it is. We tell you straight what we can do.

Do you publish your recipes?

No: the recipes and their amounts are ours. Every card lists the ingredients, without amounts, and the allergens.

Is it the same dough for every pizza?

The same flours and the same starter, in two doughs: a firmer one for the rounds and knots, a wetter one for the pans and focaccia.

What is Heritage 48?
